Damn. or: Exploitation of Migrant Construction Workers in the United Arab Emirates

I could (should?) have known it, shouldn’t I? Of course, Dubai isn’t the home of saints, but – could they, please!, pay their workers fair wages, and then really pay them?
Human Rights Watch has published a report, Building Towers, Cheating Workers – Exploitation of Migrant Construction Workers in the United Arab Emirates and published fotos.

exam trouble & khabi alvida naa khena

so. i have an exam in 3 weeks. do i study? the topic – or the book – is boring. Madeleine Albright’s autobiography isn’t. i should return it to the library now. and re-borrow it in 3 weeks and 2 days.
i so hope the nehaflix-parcels arrive after the 30th of november.
and i want to go and see Umrao Jaan today. i shouldn’t. i really shouldn’t. i shan’t. but i’ll watch parineeta on sunday, in the matinee.

saw kabhi alvida naa khena yesterday. i think i’ll re-watch it some day. Maybe.
